Our Brief

The client was embarking on a new chapter in her life, moving into a newly built property. She envisioned a garden that reflected this fresh start—relaxing, contemporary, and harmonious with her new home. Her ideal space featured clean lines, a white-rendered dining area, and an aluminium pergola for shaded relaxation. Surrounding plants were essential to provide height and movement, creating a tranquil and shaded atmosphere for our client to enjoy.

Our Approach

We designed the garden to align with the client’s vision and requirements, embracing the theme of a fresh start. To achieve this, we incorporated contrasting materials throughout the design to create visual interest while maintaining a cohesive look. The layout was carefully planned to balance functionality and aesthetics, ensuring the garden would be both practical and serene.

Dreams to Reality

The white-rendered dining area became the focal point of the garden, sitting on a bed of porcelain paving. This secluded space was enhanced with a box hedge and complementary planting to soften its edges and tie the design together. An aluminium pergola was introduced to provide shade and relaxation, surrounded by thoughtfully chosen plants that add both height and movement as they lightly sway in the wind.

The Finished Project

The completed garden is a contemporary space that perfectly reflects the client’s vision for her new home. Clean lines, contrasting materials, and lush planting create a harmonious blend of modern design and natural beauty. The dining area offers a secluded yet inviting space for entertaining, while the pergola provides a tranquil retreat for relaxation.
